AI Integration

Each OV Pro Tool can expose a read-only MCP server — an endpoint that lets an AI assistant query that tool's data in natural language.

How it works

The MCP server runs on the factory network, alongside the tool it belongs to. Claude Code runs on your own machine and connects to it directly, so install that first.

Claude Desktop's chat does not work

Its Settings → Connectors hands the URL to Anthropic's cloud, and their servers do the connecting — they cannot reach an address inside your factory network. Use Claude Code, which connects from your own machine.
