Grouping parameters

Each camera has four grouping parameters — Factory, Line Code, Vision Application, and Camera Role. They are read from the camera and appear as default, read-only columns in Fleet.

Fleet does not normalize these values: the same value must be written the same way on every camera, or they form different groups.

Camera Grouping Sources

The source of each grouping parameter is configurable on System → Camera Grouping Sources. Each parameter is read from one or more sources, tried in order; a source is an environment variable or an HTTP endpoint.
