What do you want to know?
Troubleshooting
Start from what you are seeing. Each path ends on the most likely cause, with a link to the fix.
What are you seeing?
Answer a few questions and land on the likely cause.
Three screens that answer most questions
Before changing anything, look. These three screens between them explain the large majority of line problems.
| Screen | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Diagnostic Logs | What the camera ran into: triggers while busy, triggers before ready, recipe switch errors, storage faults |
| I/O Live Monitor | Whether a signal is actually on the wire, and when |
| Library | What the camera saw on a specific part, and what each tool decided |
Change one thing at a time
When you do start changing things, change one setting, test, then change the next. Two changes at once leaves you not knowing which one fixed it, or which one broke something else.
Common messages

| Failed to upload a file to remote storage | Inspection was fine, but the image did not reach the share | Remote Storage |
| Dropping captures | The storage server is slower than the line | Remote Storage |
| Host key changed | The SFTP server's identity changed. Confirm with IT before trusting it | Remote Storage |
| Access protection is off | Anyone on the network has Admin access | Users and Permissions |
